The Wiggles Uniondale Theatre reviews
Decent show, not a great experience with the venue
Suneagles, the Count Basie outdoor tent in NJ, was the venue. Fans are needed as there was no ventilation on a pretty hot night.
The chairs were low and uncomfortable, while the tables looked like they were assembled by a high school shop class.
The plastic flatware was the cheapest possible, even the food was terrible and way over-priced. $18 for a burger that isn't even as good as Macdonalds is unacceptable. The $11 salad was wilted and inedible. Drink pours were downright chintzy. A $20 minimum per person is fine if you get a fair deal, but to top it off, there's a mandatory 20% "ROOM CHARGE" added to the bill after-tax, which isn't even the gratuity. The tip goes on top of that!
The venue is very close to home, but it may not see me again. The Basie shouldn't attach its good name to this shabby venue.
